Neil C. Obremski is a JERK!

Perhaps having Neil Obremski in the title will put this personal blog up on page one of a web search for my family name. As it currently stands, the last entry on such a Google search reveals some shocking text linked to a madman's site created very recently for the sole purpose of discrediting my brother in front of uncaring digital denizens.

It ain't true, of course, but it might have gotten your attention and that's the whole point. This webbed war of words between my sibling and this psychopath has long spilled over reasonable into ridiculous, regardless of who's side you take. It reminds me of Jack Klein and his Usenet rebuttal to my email reply over a decade ago: perform a Google Groups search for my name and the very first result is "Neil C. Obremski is a **JERK**". The story isn't worth explaining, because you can glean it from reading through the thread, but the point is that either one of us ignoring the other would have been much more constructive than rashly lashing out. Now our immaturity is preserved for the long-haul on the information super copy machine.

And to append to the everlasting annals, I'd like to respond to one particular pants-on-the-head crazy claim which attempts to involve myself and my family.

I would like to thank the four close family members that contacted me and let me know that he has been this way for a long time. That he gets locked on something believes he is right and can’t hear, or see facts. It’s just sad that he doesn’t believe in following laws.

I'd like to see names of these sources, because I can't think of one of us doing this much less four, and as far as I know he has a lawyer so being legal isn't an issue.

His LiveJournal is now disabled. Maybe he will get help someday.

Most hosting sites simply do not wish to be involved in anything of controversy, especially if it doesn't help their bottom line and LiveJournal is free.

This includes information posted on the internet by his brother that has been available for years. And information send to me by a friend of his named Amanda.

Huh? Me? Thinking I might have long ago left some remnants of our estrangement available, I tried searching for this and couldn't find anything. Public web pages are not an appropriate emotional outlet anyway, I try not to put anything of a personal relationship nature on this blog or anywhere else.

I did not chose to be a target of his attacks, but I won’t sit back and not respond.
