Avondale to Redhook

Despite running a little in spurts at the beginning, we mostly walked. We went down the Powerline Trail to the Sammamish River Trail and then up that to where it goes under the road by Redhook Brewery before turning back; a respectable eleven miles.


We stopped at the soccer fields so Autumn could use the restroom there and while waiting I noticed a dollar bill sticking out of the Gatorade vending machine.


What's that sticking out?


A poor little dollar bill with a torn edge.


It's real!
I postulated the person pushing it got pissed the machine kept rejecting it and simply thought: "F**k it, you can have it!" Autumn's theory is it took the money, but it didn't spit out until the owner had left. A hilarious thought either way, and I am one dollar richer.
