Microsoft and Mozilla, you two need to learn to get along. First off, Microsoft you need to stop Word and Outlook and whatever else from translating smiley faces from the sideways double character sequence ":)" into a WingDings-specific glyph by default. Secondly, Mozilla you need to come off your mighty high place, put yourself in the real world, and have some patch or extension or whatever in FireFox for specially converting these J's into the Unicode equivalent of a smiley or a graphic or something. It never ceases to confuse me when I see a lone "J" or several in a row when the writer intended an emote.
Why can't we all just get along? J
