Mountain Bus March

Red morning through window screen

This morning I got to Seattle in time to board an Amtrak Superliner with mere minutes to spare. Note to self: forty-five minutes isn't quite enough buffer time to get all the way there from Redmond.

Back of train car empty

Upon arrival in Centralia I didn't have to wait long to take the "L.E.W.I.S. Mountain Transit" bus (e.g. Lewis County Mountain Bus) to Silvercreek.

From the Texico off Highway 12 I began walking up to and then on Cinebar road. This picture is for Cory Seefurth (Dude, my phone is refusing to send pics from down here):

Some more pictures from my walk ...

Caved in barn

Y junction for Ike Kinswa and Cinebar Road

Neil on Cinebar Road with Mayfield Lake backdrop

Cinebar Road powerlines and Christmas Trees

My memory said it was three miles to my destination and it took me an hour and twenty minutes to get there (boo!). Later pa corrected me and we checked it via the odometer: 4.7. Not bad for carrying a poorly packed ... uh ... pack.

And just for fun, I present Find the Buu(da) ...
